Cleveland Brown receiver Donte Stallworth was charged with killing a pedestrian last Wednesday. He was driving home from a club last month in his black Bentley when he struck and killed a crane operator who was trying to catch the bus. Hey, if that crane operated would have been driving a Bentley, he wouldn’t be dead would he? I mean, that’s what you get for working hard all day, then taking the bus home while others are driving their half-million dollar cars home from the club.

The cops called to the scene smelled alcohol on Stallworth’s breath, he scored over the legal limit. He is expected to surrender to court this Thursday. Lawyers are asking he be released on $200,000 bail. Stallworth signed a seven-year, $35 million contract with the Browns before last season but was injured much of the year. He previously played for New England, Philadelphia and New Orleans.
